Romanian authorities announce restrictions on cultural, entertainment and sports activities

In the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, restrictions targeting cultural, entertainment and sports activities are announced. Thus, from March 8 until March 31, all activities involving the participation of over 1000 people will be prohibited, according to a preventive measure announced on Sunday - March 08, 2020 by the National Committee for Special Emergency Situations. The restriction concerns both public and private events, organized either in closed spaces or outdoors. In the case of events involving less than 1000 people, each concert / event will be analyzed individually, so that the prohibition measure will be taken at local level, based on a risk analysis and with the approval of the Public Health Directorate.
